Tehran
Tehran City,
with a relatively short history, holds interesting monuments and worth-seeing
places. Tehran, once was a village in suburbs of Ray City. after being ruined by
the Mongols, developed gradually and was selected as capital city of Iran in the
reign of Agha Mohammad Khan Ghajar in the late 18th century AD.
Today, the face of Tehran City, as
the largest metropolitan area of the country, with its physical expansion and
diversity of roles, is completely changed.
